Our Management

Lawrence Marsh and his partner Jo Hardy, took on the management and responsibility of operating Willow Lakes in January 2020. Since then, Willow Lakes has continued to develop into the fantastic diverse business it is today and they have plenty more planned for the future. With its incredible on-site café/restaurant, cottages, log cabins, lodges, business suite and stabling for 20 horses already thriving, there is planning permission to develop a total of 39 lodges on the park as well as a wedding venue. Willow Lakes is embarking on an exciting 5 year master plan become a premier destination.

Wildlife and Wandering

With 20 acres set aside for paddocks, a stable block for 20 horses, and over 3 miles of post and rail fencing, Willow Lakes is also a working livery yard – and that coupled with the lakes, the space, the views, the beautifully maintained park and the backdrop of grazing horses – make it a perfect retreat for you to escape the demands of everyday life.

Willow Lakes actively encourage the preservation and conservation of all wildlife and its environment. A wide variety of birds, including herons, cormorants, swifts, swallows, house martins, skylarks, kestrels, kites, buzzards, dippers, pied wagtails and even kingfishers are regular visitors to the park, especially around the lakes.

Foxes, rabbits, hedgehogs, shrews and field mice all seem to find their own habitat, particularly in the beetle bank and wild flower hedgerows.

The woodland around the lake is carefully managed to attract even more wildlife, so at Willow Lakes, wherever you are staying, nature is closer than you think.
